These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Recipe Raise. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Recipe Raise

Recipe Raise is a digital fundraising platform that enables organizations to create and sell custom digital cookbooks. Recipe Raise is operated by Falls Farmhouse, LLC, based in Ellwood City, Pennsylvaia.

Recipe Raise:

  • Is not a nonprofit organization

  • Does not represent fundraisers as charitable donations

  • Does not guarantee fundraising results

  • Does not provide tax or legal advice

All fundraising activities are conducted by the participating organization. Determination of tax deductibility, if any, is the sole responsibility of the organization.

2. Eligibility

By using Recipe Raise, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old

  • You are authorized to act on behalf of the organization you represent

3. Fundraising Role & Disclaimer

Recipe Raise:

  • Is a service provider, not a nonprofit organization

  • Does not solicit donations on behalf of organizations

  • Does not guarantee fundraising outcomes

Organizations using Recipe Raise are solely responsible for:

  • Their fundraising activities

  • Compliance with applicable laws

  • Determining whether funds are tax-deductible

  • Communicating fundraising details accurately to supporters

Recipe Raise does not provide tax advice and makes no representations regarding tax deductibility.

4. Payments & Fees

  • Payments are processed through Stripe

  • Funds are collected by Falls Farmhouse, LLC

  • A percentage-based platform fee is retained

  • Remaining funds are distributed to the organization after the fundraiser

Exact fee structures may vary and are communicated during setup.

5. Digital Products & Refunds

All products offered through Recipe Raise are:

  • Digital-only

  • Custom-created per fundraiser

  • Final once ordered

  • Not editable after purchase

All sales are final.
No refunds are offered for digital or custom products.

6. Content Submissions & Copyright

Organizations represent and warrant that:

  • They own or have permission to use all submitted recipes, names, and content

  • Submitted content does not infringe on third-party rights

Recipe Raise is not responsible for the accuracy or legality of submitted content.

7. Children & Personal Information

Organizations are responsible for:

  • Obtaining consent for any child-related references

  • Determining whether class names, team names, or group identifiers are included

Recipe Raise does not independently verify permissions.

8. Platform Use & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for:

  • Misuse of the platform

  • Violation of these Terms

  • Unlawful or harmful activity

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Recipe Raise and Falls Farmhouse, LLC are not liable for indirect or consequential damages

  • Liability is limited to the amount paid to Recipe Raise for the applicable fundraiser.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
